Amy Herd (FCRH ’25)

President, Co-Editor-in-Chief

Amy is a junior at Fordham University from Bethlehem, PA, and is pursuing an International Studies and History double major with a Russian minor. She currently serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief and President of the Fordham Political Review, though she is studying abroad at Oxford for the Spring 2024 semester. She is also a member of the Fordham Honors Program, a Co-Managing Editor at the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review, and the Secretary of the Fordham Ukrainian Society. Amy is primarily interested in humanitarian law in Eastern Europe. Amy is on the Pre-Law track and plans to attend law school after graduation.

Sara Safari (FCRH ’25)

Co-Editor-in-Chief

Sara Safari is a junior at Fordham University from Holmdel, New Jersey. She is pursuing a Sociology major and a Political Science minor with plans to attend law school upon graduation. Sara currently serves as a Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Fordham Political Review, a Staff Writer for the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review, and a Junior E-Board Member of the Club Field Hockey Team. Her primary interests are domestic policy and intellectual property law.

Teagan Angell (FCRH ’24)

Co-Managing Editor

Teagan is a senior at Fordham University from the Poconos, PA. She is pursuing a double major in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Women, Gender & Sexuality studies. She is a Resident Assistant in CSC, a Ram Van driver, and Vice President of Every Vote Counts. She is interested in mental health awareness, women’s rights, and civil rights, and she plans on entering the government affairs sphere after graduation.

Crystal Larios (FCRH ’25)

Co-Managing Editor

Crystal is a junior at Fordham University from Valley Cottage, NY. She is pursuing a Political Science major with a Latin American and Latino studies minor. She currently serves as the Co-Managing Editor of the Fordham Political Review. She also serves as the Social Media Manager for El Grito, Fordham’s Latin American society. She is primarily interested in Latin American politics and immigration. Crystal is on the pre-law track and plans to attend law school.

Abigail D’Angelo (FCRH ’26)

Co-Associate Editor

Abigail D’Angelo is a sophomore at Fordham University from Westchester, NY. She is pursuing a B.S. degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy on the Pre-Law Track. Abigail currently serves as Co-Assosciate Editor of the Fordham Political Review, a staff writer for the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review, and a member of the Pre-Law Society. Her primary interests are constitutional law and domestic policy, and she currently plans on attending law school after graduation.

Daniel Daly (FCRH ’25)

Co-Associate Editor

Daniel is a junior at Fordham University from Northport, NY. He is pursuing a major in International Political Economy and a minor in both Economics and Political Science. He currently serves as a Co-Associate Editor for the Fordham Political Review and is a member of the Political Union. He is primarily interested in Economics and Foreign Affairs. Daniel is on the pre-law track and plans to attend law school after graduation.

Riley Hildebrand (FCRH ’26)

Executive Administrator

Riley is a sophomore at Fordham University from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She is pursuing a Political Science major with a double minor in Psychology and American Studies and currently serves as the Executive Administrator of the Fordham Political Review. She is also a member of the Fordham Political Union. She is primarily interested in domestic politics, social justice, voting rights, and education-based public policy. Riley plans on getting her master’s degree in public policy after graduation with a concentration in education policy.

Lauren Walczyk (FCRH ’25)

Public Affairs Director

Lauren is a junior at Fordham University living in Ashburn, Virginia. She is currently pursuing Political Science and Sociology on the pre-law track and serves as the Publicist for the Fordham Political Review. She is also the Vice President of Operations for Fordham USG Rose Hill,  Treasurer of MODE Magazine, and a member of the Fordham Pre-Law Society. Lauren intends to attend law school post-grad.

Matthew DeMott (GSB ’25)

Events Coordinator

Matthew is a junior at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business from Lawrenceville, NJ. He is pursuing a BS in Applied Accounting and Finance, and he currently serves as the Events Coordinator of the Fordham Political Review. This summer, Matt will be interning at Andersen in their tax division and plans to work in a related field after graduation.

Faculty Advisor

Professor Nicholas Tampio – Political Science Department, Fordham University

Nicholas Tampio is a Professor of Political Science. He researches the history of political philosophy, contemporary political theory, and education policy. He is the editor of a new edition of John Dewey’s Democracy and Education (2024) and author of Teaching Political Theory (2022), Common Core (2018), Deleuze’s Political Vision (2015), and Kantian Courage (2012). Tampio often writes for public facing outlets such as Aeon, the Boston Globe, the Conversation, and USA Today.
